I've written this song in 2018 and it's a light-hearted teenager love song.
It was born on the piano where I found the chord progression, then I added the guitar riffs and the lyrics.
In the second verse I recall some flashes from the beginning of the love-story happened in Madrid, Spain.
I wrote about Goya's painting "Saturn Devouring His Son" because in front of it this girl and I first bonded during a visit to the Prado Museum;
and "You're not alone" by the Eagles because we used to listen to that song together. Plus in some sort of stream of consciousness I tried to depict some moments of those first days of love (a kiss on the stairs, drinking wine from the bottle without a glass...)
The guitar solo came out very naturally, almost like an outburst of tension and excitement and it's very much the feeling that I wanted to express.
